Operating Principle
The operating principle of an air-cooling screw chiller is based on the refrigeration cycle. The gaseous refrigerant from the evaporator is adiabatically compressed by the compressor to a high-temperature, high-pressure state. It is then cooled and condensed into a liquid state at an equal pressure in the condenser. It then expands to a low pressure through a throttle valve, forming a gas-liquid mixture. The low-temperature, low-pressure liquid refrigerant absorbs heat from the cooled material in the evaporator, returning to a gaseous state and entering the compressor again to begin the cycle anew.
