What is Plastic recycling?
Plastic recycling refers to the use of certain recycling processes to recycle waste plastics to achieve the purpose of turning waste into treasure. At present, waste plastics in my country are mainly plastic films, plastic filaments and woven products, foam plastics, plastic packaging boxes and containers, daily plastic products, plastic bags, and agricultural mulching films, etc.

Application of plastic recycling
1. Recycled materials
After the waste plastics are manually screened and classified, they need to be crushed, granulated, modified, etc., to become various transparent and opaque plastic particles, which are then classified according to the phase, and finally become recyclable materials that can be reused.

2. Fuel
Using waste plastics in blast furnace injection instead of coal, oil, and coke, using cement rotary kilns instead of coal to burn cement, and making waste solid fuel (RDF) for power generation, has ideal results.

Blast furnace injection of waste plastics technology is also a new method of processing waste plastics by using the high heating value of waste plastics, using waste plastics as raw materials into suitable particle size, and spraying them into the blast furnace to replace coke or coal powder. The application of injecting waste plastics into foreign blast furnaces shows that the utilization rate of waste plastics reaches 80%, and the emissions are 0.1%-1.0% of the incineration volume, which produces less harmful gases and lower processing costs. The technology of injecting waste plastics into the blast furnace has opened up a new way for the comprehensive utilization of waste plastics and the treatment of "white pollution", and it also provides a new means for metallurgical enterprises to save energy and increase efficiency. Germany and Japan have been successfully applied since 1995.

3. Power generation
Waste solid fuel power generation was first applied in the United States, and there are 37 RDF power stations, accounting for 21.6% of the waste power stations. Japan has realized the huge potential of waste plastic power generation. Japan has converted some small waste incineration stations into RDF production stations in conjunction with major repairs to enable continuous and efficient large-scale power generation after concentration. The steam parameters of waste-to-energy stations have been increased from 30012 to 45012, and the power generation efficiency has been increased from 15% to 20%. -25%.
